I have a little john-boat at my pond. I've never had a lot of luck with bass. Mostly I lack the know how. You really need someone to teach you the tricks.

Last week in a little park lake the bass were tearing up the shad in the shallows during the first and last 20 minutes of daylight. A guy who lived close to the park caught around 75 last week including two 6s and an 8. He released them all.
