You think that eternal torture as a benchmark for "justice" shuffled out equally to both loving people and mass murderers is something humanity needs to borrow from if it is to survive on a moral basis of rights and freedoms? Give your head a shake! We have gotten rid of animal sacrifices and human sacrifices (mostly). But as has been said: "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance".
