One possible solution would be to have Jerusalem as neither Israeli, Palestinian, or anyone else's - but as a sovereign entity - protected by UN troops, and open to all 3 religions. Yes, that would be a truly excellent development. That was the original solution, but it quickly fell by the wayside. See, we can make progress, even here :--) At Camp David, Israel was talking about giving back 1 acre of land for every 9 acres annexed. Dennis Ross' 1:1 ratio would definitely represent progress. Tom
