It never pays to be in a hurry when it comes to attacking a nation pre-emptively. With no evidence of Saddam being connected to Al Qaeda we should have worked with the other nations.

In the case of Afghanistan, a nation clearly harboring terrorists, terrorists that attacked us on 9-11, there should have been a no holds barred all out assault. Surround, entrap, pulverize. Not necessarily in that order.

Unfortunately for us Bush effed up in both cases.
