There was a period where the Palestinians were travelling with limited restrictions to Israel proper and fit well into the economy and as others have pointed out, things seemed to be progressing towards some type of peaceful co-existence.

Once the violence started, and once suicide bombers were hidden in this work force, it only makes sense for Israel to restrict or eliminate this work force, don't you think?

Living in Israel, with constant threats coming from terrorist leaders and seeing many of the threats coming to fruition, targeting civilians with suicide children, it only makes sense that Israelis would be very cautious in relations with their Arab neighbors, don't you think?

I'm not arguing who was at fault or who wanted peace or who didn't want peace. We could argue that all night.
