The problem is that either Politician runs this world, or Dictators and you won’t find any good in these 2 groups

IMO we will end up destroying our self (using our best technology), I just hope God will be smart enough next time not to select Human as the leading specie again.

t was a power grab between the growing terrorist movements, predecessors to Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc., and Arafat and his Fatah.

Which specific event(s) illustrated this process?
Hamas, after all, was the group which planned the shop closing tactic in the mid 1980s.

'm sure you've read how Arafat has been able to accumulate a huge (estimate at least a billion dollars) over the years.

It would not make sense for Arafat to keep Palestinian finances within the borders of Palestine. Israel has already knocked over (literally) most of the banks.

The real issue has been one of power and then the issue feeds on itself
I agree that that is at the root, but I still maintain that the moderate forces were discredited by the massive settlement movement when the Russians came. When the moderates lose, the extremists fill the vaccum. Israel planted the seeds for their own terrorist problem.
