Check out Google's Beta News Search tool The following does a reverse lookup for "mining", but you can use any keywords yourself, and even have the stories immediately emailed to you. news.google.com In additon to the Forbes article you mentioned, I have been picking up quite a few interesting stories that I did find elsewhere.
