"My worst fear is that a new Saddam will emerge out of the rubble. The new Saddam will make the old Saddam look like a falafil vender by comparison "

I think that your worst fear and that of your allies on this board is that the US will win in Iraq and that by November Iraq will be progressing nicely towards a peaceful solution!

Orcastraighter guy...you are obviously out of the information loop or you fail to read the pertinent and relevant news items of the times.....

We are winning the war against terrorism, it is actually in its death throes now....
it is making a last, desperate, stand in Iraq now as I type.

Our troops are demolishing the radical Islamic fundamentalists that are gathering from all over the ME to support the dying remains of the Hussein Bathhist's party diehards.
You still see and hear incidents from around the world regards terrorist activities but it is diminishing and their money and State support is running out.

OBTW don't worry about Saddam Hussein he is as good as toast, Chalabi and his guys will take care of him....

regards from Chuck
