The trouble with that approach is that everyone "follows the leader" down the wrong path is the guy at the top is wrong.

Bill Gates, as one example, achieved much success by always making sure that people with opposed positions sat on every board..............maybe it was hard to keep control of the board meetings but at least you did hear every angle argued..............With the Bush.Cheney method you only hear one side of the argument. All sides of all decisions are not explored.

The GOP have too many yes men to rightwing fanatics now.
God Bless Lugar, Hagel, Snowe and McCain for at least making sure we know they still care about reality, b ut they are out-numbered by the robot-men of the Hannitized rightwing liars crusade.
