What's more interesting is what diseases the WHO follows under its Communicable Disease Surveillance & Response (CSR) program, which seems to wrap up their strategies for detecting and responding to global pandemic.

B.C. Agriculture Minister John van Dongen said in Victoria the disease remains out of control.

With millions of birds locally here being destroyed; and some human cases reported (all industry or agriculture agency related so far), I guess we here should feel special that the Avian Influenza is listed right up there as a potential global health threat.

At least we'll make the news...
