Contrary to some news reports that flatter George Bush with qualities he does not have, Seymour Hersh laid out a chilling story in April, 2002 about a completely devious and underhanded operation that took place in November, 2001.

newyorker.com

Anywhere between 800 and 3,000 al Qaeda, Taliban and ISI operatives were airlifted out of Kunduz. They ended up on the disputed Kashmiri border in late December through January, fomenting a level of tension in the sub-continent that had many journalists describing the possibility of a nuclear confrontation. In the meanwhile, these agents provocateurs seemingly are working for American "defense" industry owners, who conveniently were making very good profits in Afghanistan in late 2001, and equally substantial sales to the worried brasshats in Islamabad and New Delhi in early 2002.

Convenient, don't you think? :)

War -- What is it good for? Profits.

War on terror..a major advance....

Jordan foiled an Al-Qaeda chemical bomb plot against the intelligence services HQ using trucks packed with 20 tons of explosives that could have killed as many as 80,000 people, security officials said.

Six members of the network were arrested while four were killed in clash with Jordan security agencies.
