willcousa, I remember your posts when the Republicans took control of both houses of Congress in the 2002 election. You were very optomistic that spending would be controlled and the deficit would be reduced. Well, the opposite happened. Wake up! Democrats are now the fiscally conservative party as compared to the Republicans. In the past 12 months, during an economic recovery, the national debt has increased by $680 Billion. Think about it!
