You just posted that Cleland was not a hero because of a friendly grenade. Who the hell cares how he was wounded, he was in combat and was almosty killed. Even if he was bombed by friendly fire he was still a hero. Meanwhile, every single rightwing leader either dodged the draft, avoided duty or never had to suffer the harsh reality of combat. Yet they have no qualms about cheerleading wars against whomever, nomatter how un-just, so long as they and their families don't have to fight them. All the btter when their cronies can make tens of billions in windfall profits and skim them off large campaign contributions. Youre the one not dealing with reality. Whenever you hear Cheney or Bush talking about defending our country remember that when it was their turn, they ran and hid like cowards, then lied about it later.
