Can you document these "hundreds of thousands"?

Or perhaps you're just exaggerating for dramatic effect?

Is Zarqawi making them run into the streets and celebrate the brutal deaths of American troops? Is Zaqawi stopping them from turning in the insurgents that live among them and whom they shelter and supply? Is Zarqawi stopping them from taking to the streets to demonstrate AGAINST the anti-American actions of the insurgents?

First, there are demonstrations, but you are exaggerating the numbers. Second, when you ask "is Zarqawi stopping them from demonstrating against the anti-American acitons"? the answer is, yes of course he is, he and all the other 'insurgents', because, in case you haven't noticed, these people have one thing in common - they are thugs who believe in the rule of the gun. There is massive indimidation underway. When the Americans try to help Iraqis and are told by people in desperate need, "I'd like to accept but I can't" the intimidation is obvious. Read the Iraqi bloggers, many of them will tell you. The vast majority of the Iraqi people have been trained to be sheep by 35 years of brutal dictatorship, and the 5% of wolves (who mostly worked for Saddam) are trying to take over again.

BTW, there was an anti-terror demo of about 10,000 last December in Baghdad, so Zarqawi & his ilk don't stop everything.

Hi cnyndwllr; Re: "Or maybe you're [i.e. Nadine Carroll] not as worried because it's someone else's kids that are dying in the streets of those cities? If so then your personal cost/benefit analysis is different than mine."

She only cares about Israel. To her, the US is just a convenient tool to help with the life and death fight against the Arabs. Here's what Nadine's thoughts were when the US got caught on 9/11:

Skeets, Israel will benefit from this catastrophe, just as Britain benefited from Pearl Harbor 60 years ago. #reply-16345943

Cui bono.

Do you believe the words of those whose words don't make any logical sense, or do you think for yourself?

Oh, goodie, a Democrat.

I am fine tuning a bumper sticker for Democrats, help me out here, please?

Which sounds more like a real Democrat?

"I vote Democrat because I am smarter than everybody else"

or

"I vote Democrat because I am smarter than anybody else"

or

"I vote Democrat because I am smarter than you."
