I was counting deaths divided by deaths plus discharges and since the deaths equal 1 and the discharges equal 0, the case fatality rate equals 100% (1/1).

However, speaking of many people infected, the big question concerning the lab workers is why they were infected almost a month apart. The question becomes more intriguing because they were working in the CDC lab that tests specimens, and usually the most likely place to find live virus in such a lab is in the specimens themselves.

However, prior to the latest incident there were no positive specimens in China, so where did the infectious virus originate?
