I heard that on Rush, that Kerry's "American" car was made in Canada. Hee hee.

Kerry also put his foot in it by saying he wants cars to be made in Michigan by United Auto Workers. What about all the cars that are assembled in places like Alabama? Are those guys chopped liver?

The N American auto manufacturing industries -big 3, anyway - are integrated. The Buick I owned years ago was made in Kansas, I think, but it was a "Canadian" model.

An American car is a Canadian car is an American car is a Mexican car is a Canadian car.
