I would like to see a lot more security personnel guarding the borders and stricter restrictions for entry. I would also like to see a lot more container inspections including more dogs. I don't know what the solution would be for airport screeners, but somehow I think technology is going to have to play a larger role than it does now, regardless of the expense. I don't care one bit about the people that say we are being too un-pc or that we can't profile or that the Patriot Act is too invasive. The Patriot Act has not once infringed upon someone's civil rights. Until we get a better handle on terrorists, and for the sake of our safety, I don't see any other way to ensure that we won't be attacked again. In other words, I'd like us to be even more proactive. I wonder how many behind the scenes think tanks have been established...if any......and whether they will be successful in anticipating any expected...and unexpected difficulties? I can just hear the PC crowd now......
