Blogs are a tiny part of the WWW, and the Internet is a conduit for anybody with something to say.....at least in democratic countries. The control of the media in the ME and elsewhere is another story, but whenever I've mentioned blogs to Internet savvy friends here in the US they stare at me with a blank look on their face.....we have a very long way to go. Good news though.......I was buying some food for a party I'm giving tomorrow and overheard a conversation between the checkout guy and the gal that was bagging the groceries. His advice to her was not to trust one source for her news. That she needed to research several sources in order to come to factual conclusions. I was surprised and elated by that statement. I would prefer that English become the Universal language of choice since It's the only one I speak or read. <gg> We have to understand one another before we can peacefully evolve. M
