Shares of FindWhat.com rose more than 20 percent in late trading after the paid-placement search engine said it beat Wall Street expectations for sales and profits. The Fort Myers, Fla. company said late Monday that first-quarter profits rose 41 percent to $3.8 million, or 16 cents a share. A year earlier the company earned $2.7 million, or 13 cents a share. Analysts had expected 13 cents a share, according to a survey by Thomson First Call. marketwatch.com
