Tillman is a real hero.

But deluded. He may have thought he was going to Afghanistan to fight the perpetrators of 9-11. But that was a secondary agenda item, that didn't receive the necessary priority. What did receive priority was the TAP (Turkmenistan Afghanistan Pakistan) pipeline. Why else was a former oil company (the company that just happened to be the one pushing for the pipeline.) employee installed as president? So the pursuit of Al Qaeda languished. The result is Americans still being killed in Afghanistan today - like Tillman. Sorry, sad that it is, Tillman didn't die for his country. He died for the Unocal oil company.
