juan guitara-

thanks for sharing the article.

that's about the fifth story i've either read or
seen on tv about Pat and it's probably the least
exploitive so far...

but still, it's made up of a lot of the author's
imagination and values and as such, it says more
about Adrian Wojnarowski than it does about Pat
Tillman.

here's my take on it.

the story was written to motivate and if it motivates
me to question and/or strengthen my own values then
i've handled it with due diligence. if i take every
word and sentence as fact and it motivates me to
adopt or follow Adrian Wojnarowski's artistic
interpretation of Pat Tillman's values then i've
been taken for a ride.

<Until now, I didn't know any
of the casualties.>

Two days ago when I saw the Globe showing the flag draped metal caskets in the the C5A it was a jolt. Then reading about the football player was equally bad - what's bad to me is there have been about 500+ guys killed already and about 4000 injured and the papers are making an extra deal about him - it's tragic see anyone coming home in a bag. I don't know anyone who has been killed in Iraq either but seeing those caskets send me over the edge.
