Yup, you'd spend a lot of time indoors if you lived there.

The homes are pretty nice, high tech construction although they look conventional. 'Synthetic stucco' with a long lifetime and good insulating value. Attics that are never more than 8 degrees hotter or colder than the home's interior. Double pane low-e windows. Wired for broadband and cable. They'd be great if only they weren't in a windy desert...
