Israel has some real demographic problems with a low Jewish birth rate and a high Muslim birthrate. In twenty years, Jews will likely be a minority in their own country.

Very true - The Arab leaders have used the so-called Palestininan refugees as pawns, all the while acquiring wealth and power for the ruling cadre.

If Arafat or the other Arab tyrants and OILogarchs really wanted to help these people, it would be relatively easy to do, with all the land and resources in the Mideast.

Israel has assimilated more Jewish refugees kicked out of Arab lands I believe, without all the moaning and whining about refugees being kept in camps for 60 years.

Unfortunately, Israel is too civilized and the world too concerned with the Arab oil wealth as opposed to caring about Jews, who have taken a barren land and made it into an oasis. Consequently, it will have to give up most of the West Bank. They will retain the key settlements and enough land to make the borders more defensible. There will be millions paid to Palestinian refugees, but those funds will likely go to Arafat and his cronies. I doubt there will ever be compensation for Jews kicked out of Arab lands and for their possessions, stolen from them.
