<< I also would love to see a gap and breakaway leaving all the naysayers shaking their heads.>>

If we are to get the next leg up that is probably the way that it will go and it should in the next couple of weeks.
I remember Russell saying a long time ago that the big move would happen when most of the long time gold bulls were out. I also firmly believe that most gold bulls really do not believe their own bullsh*t.

$470+ by year end or bust. The lines are drawn.

"...hearing so many previous gold bulls who chose to sell out on this drop, keep on and on with the negative talk in hopes of driving down prices..."

Maybe someone like a newsletter writer can talk down a single, thinly traded junior with a very small market cap, but who on this board would believe he could talk down the HUI? Some of us have been putzing around with miner stocks for 10 years or better, and have seen some BIG collapses (40%) along the way. I can't say this is a big one, but I can say caution is highly warranted. And, I say that while still holding 33% of my PF in miners.

The level of frustration and acrimony I read in some of the posts is telling me miner stocks are nearing a bottom, but we aren't there yet. When the acrimony gives way to silence, then I know a major bottom will have been put in.

Regards,

crusty
