I don't quite understand your post. Why would the terrorists want Bush in office?

I agree that Bush would like to promote his leadership on terror but why would terrorists prefer him to Kerry? Wouldn't they be able to proclaim a victory if Bush lost?

As an aside, I'm trying to get an objective view of the current polls. For awhile, it looked like Kerry was starting to really roll in the polls. The latest seem to trend the other way. I figured that Kerry would continue to do well particularly as it looks more like we are sitting ducks in Iraq. Is there an objective, non conspiracy take on the current polls?
