You're right, it's in the First Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"

Problem is......some folks think they have the right to interpret religion and force it on others. Along with that they are quick to forget the all-embracing aspect of religion, yet constantly focus on the declaration of other people's sin.
