With the aircraft carrier that is the US economy put on a solid deficit course by the democrats... Who was your Revisionist History teacher? Was Dumbya your classmate (must have got a C- in that as well! ;-) ) During the period 1990-2000, when the deficits turned into surplus, the democrats had control of at least one of the two houses or the Presidency. In 2002, control of all three went to the Republicans. And voila! The surpluses have turned into deficits and we might well see the first-ever annual trillion dollar deficit if we continue along the same course.
