Kerry came hightailing it back after 4 months in-country. 120 days. None the same. He was awarded for bravery and heroism during those 120 days. Saving lives of fellow countrymen in the face of enemy fire, isn't it? Let me know what part of service to the country don't you understand. Your line of thinking is like the 14 year old kid who tells his parents that they did not give him birth. Instead he was a product of their fun having sex and that they had to pay the consequences of his birth and taking care of him. Little does the kid realize that they could have done all that with contraceptives and still not have given that kid a birth. So like patriotic Americans, let us all shut up and no matter what respect our war dead and our veterans, politics or not.

Kerry was in the service for YEARS and sailed to Vietnam awaiting orders. They finally came in after a year of prep. The most dangerous river in the country, total hot zone. He's in command at 22 years old. He went through 4 months of 24-hour combat. Much worse than anything in Iraq or Afghanistan. He killed 20+ enemy and saved brothers' lives. He won the Silver Star for many good reasons. Have some frigging respect or be a traitor yourself. PS: See awolbush.com for new proof Bush lied about 1972 and did indeed go AWOL. In fact he never once even flew a jet and was probably arrseted for cocaine possession. While Kerry was coming back from the jungle river with blood on his hands and many dead friends. All for what? There was no purpose to that war. It was all lies.
