It seems more and more SI threads are turning to politics and religion as the medium for discussion.....

Knowing God, I think she would approve discussion of any kind of any belief but the reason she hangs out on SI is to glean some great ideas on stocks and indexes. Not to mention the entertainment value.

What the heck is that about?

They in jail for practicing Wicca or something? Did they talk about Mohammad? Get caught with the Torah?

I think you are talking about guns, box cutters, and bombs ..

If those are part of your religion, then you should be in jail or dead. Not because of your religion, but because of the violence.
