Kerry is very honest and did not grow up rich at all. He had rich relatives, one of whom had to pay his school tuitions because his parents couldn't afford to. Kerry never had a powerful father like Bush did, who delivered success on a silver platter. Kerry had to go out and earn it. He also served his country in a way few do in that preppy world.

As for marrying a rich woman, they have a pre-nup and JK has no ownership or control over any of her money. She could leave him tomorrow and he'd end up with nothing. Furthermore, she has never financed his campaigns.

In fact JK is personally broke now, in hock up to his eyeballs, putting everything he had on the line to get through the Iowa caucuses. Yes, Kerry enjoys a high class life, but whatever his position in life he earned it the hard way. Putting his life on the line in Vietnam proves that.

You also cannot fault a man for marrying a wealthy woman. I'd love to, wouldn't you? But Kerry never stopped working hard for the American people and for those less fortunate. He did not become a country gentleman or life off a woman. In fact, as a populist he is the real thing. He really cares. That's why he has always carried the workingclass vote by a wide margin.

"I only hope that one can find more morality and honesty and grow into the job".
Shrub has had 4 years to grow into the job. If, in your assessment, he hasn't done it yet, chances aren't good for him to do it in a second term.
