In 1990 or thereabouts in Coos Bay, Oregon there was a reported incident of a couple, originally from California, employed as screen-writers there, who had their apartment or home vandalized and anti-Jewish graffiti written on their walls while they were away in California on business.

The local police investigated and the FBI was called in.

It was determined that the couple perpetrated their own incident for whatever reason.

Coincidentally, another hoax was perpetrated on the unsuspecting public when two lesbian women, one Black the other White, made reports that someone had vandalized their home and burned a cross on their front lawn. One woman was wheelchair bound and said she had cancer.

The Police were called, the FBI may have been involved.

Marches and rallies were held by well-meaning citizens.

Without the women's knowledge, the Police installed a video camera that would monitor the premises 24 hours a day.

The long and short of it, as it turned out, the women in the wheelchair with cancer was recorded on tape, setting another cross on the front lawn, standing on her own feet.

Must have been the planets' alignment that year.
