I just heard some details on that. 140 Saudis were allowed to fly out of the country just after 9/11 after Bandar talked to Bush. 24 of them were members of the bin Laden family. Supposedly someone from the FBI interviewed them and OK'd it, but people at the FBI claim no knowledge. Considering how long we're sweating the detainees at Guantanamo, a few minutes questioning these Saudis and bin Ladens doesn't seem like much of an effort.
The press has been TERRIBLE on reporting this. I first heard of it from Michael Moore. Questions:

1. Who gave the OK to the FBI? All planes were grounded.
The FBI couldn't have made an exception to this alone.

2. Who at the FBI questioned the Saudis and bin Ladens?

3. Did someone from the FBI fly around with them and clear them locally?

4. Who were the Saudis and bin Ladens allowed to flee? As FBI, were'nt you suspicious when a horrible act of terrorism just occurred and here are these people who may be connected or know something who want to flee?

5. Who vouched for these people? Who made the list up?
Who was given the list?

Michael Moore's "9-11" movie is about Bush-Bin Lauden connections. Come out in June and the press will be all over it.
