You can take that statement to the bank. And dupes like you are the ones who spread it. You're either duped or a deliberate liar. Take your pick.

Yes Kerry exaggerated his protests 33 years ago, but he's still got his medals and he hasn't fibbed about that in 33 years. Bush on the other hand, continues to lie about not being AWOL in 1972, expecting us to believe he reported for duty just because he says he did, when no one else can corroborate this, inlcuding hundreds of pages of useless records. So if Bush was AWOl and lies about it to this day, Cheney dodged the draft saying he had better things to do than fight for his country and Kerry was a war hero with 20+ enemy kills and an angry attitude when he came home, who would you say has the better character? Obviously Kerry. The dishonest rightwing attacks on this war hero (like the ones on McCain and Cleland) are astoundingly un-American, un-Christian and un-honest.
