When polls show why folks vote for kerry,, most say because they do not like Bush... They are not voting for Kerry because of his character.

I wonder if there would be a move to draft Edwards. This is not a good way to start a campaign. But that's what you get by doing the attack mode and playing that game. If he had only stuck to a positive strong dynamic approach, I think he would be so far aheas in the polls, this would not have hurt him.
