Vets will go for strongly Kerry especially if he picks a fellow vet as his running mate. Kerry-Clark would mean two Silver Stars against two deliberate draft dodgers.

Kerry will also have Cleland working for him and will have McCain and Hagel only half-heartedly supporting Bush (but secretly wanting Kerry to win). Kerry and McCain have done more for vets than anyone in DC and they can prove it. Cheney-Bush have already slashed vets medical benefits just as they were sending them off to a poorly-planned war based on lies.
