Beef, So true. We Americans just can't connect the dots and think as our antagonists think. For example, the Arabs believe, correctly, that we have killed more Iraqis than the terrorists killed Americans. We see a difference in the motivation and legality of the two operations, the targeting of civilian vs. military positions, etc. I agree that our invasion is much more legitimate, but I can understand why some would look at the pure numbers and think we are hypocrites.

I thought this was a nonpolitical thread? Some of us have very different views of the rights and wrongs of the Middle East situation.

theres a big difference between not bending and blowing up kids and kidnapping civillians. If you shoot at a soldier dont be surprised if he shoots back.
