since Israel took out Hamas leaders the rate of attacks decreased drastically Sure the attacks have decreased. But it has only been few weeks. I don't think it is an indicator of future activity by Hamas. Don't you think they will adapt and continue attacking Israel? Don't you think it has inflamed more people (other than Hamas) who hithertho were pissed off but now are more likely to participate in attacks against Israeli (and US) targets. Where is the peace and security ? In doing so, has not Israel become a party to state sponsered activities that are usually not condoned by other states (maybe with the exception of US). Disclaimer: You are not missing anything :-). It is just that while I have read about it, I am giving a neutral person's perspective. i.e I am neither Muslim, nor Christian nor Jew and I have never visited M.E.
