<<< Healthy young people, whether Arab or otherwise, will tend to be pretty much alike.

I disagree with this completely, and think this may well be he fatal flaw in your argument. >>>

By pretty much alike I meant Arab youths as a group versus German , Italian, Chinese, Greek, Japanese youths as a group. From a pure DNA perspective. As far as I know there are no material differences in DNA and that as a group their bell curve mapping intelligence, psychosis, and other relevant characteristics would yield similar looking graphs as any other large groupings.

Underlying my message, however, was the thought that if terrorists have some way of selecting people from their population and be able to channel them into suicide bombers (which I believe is something that is extremely difficult to do), we should be able to (if we knew that secret or methodology) to channel our kids with the same profile - but into some commitment for good.

But beyond my admittedly far out musings, I would like to point out how difficult it is for us to communicate. The difference in the command of language is quite significant (you are a professional lawyer and I am not professional at anything).

I can't express my thoughts where you could comprehend it and I certainly do not understand your views. Yet, I believe we have tremendous advantage over those that communicate in a Far Eastern or Middle Eastern Language.

No matter, what I do know that is important is that we do not have to resort to killing each other because we can't communicate adequately.

It's fair enough to ask me how I can know such a thing without being able to explain it precisely.

Well, If I am in an elevator and it starts to go into free fall, I don't have to be an elevator mechanic or Physicist to know there is something wrong and that there is a better way for the elevator to behave.

Hi CobaltBlue; Re: "They believe that they are superior to everybody else, know better than everybody else what is right, they strive for purity and cleanliness of body and soul and ideology."

Are you talking about terrorists or people like you who believe that the US is superior to everybody else, know better than the French of Germans, spend oodles of money on improving health and the environment, buy books like "Chicken Soup for the Soul", and try to stamp out opinions that disagree with them? Do you recall your posts where you talked so much about how the French didn't fight as hard as Americans would in WW2? The posts where you talked about how the Southerners in the US had to be starved into surrender? When it comes to believing that we're superior to others, you're chauvinistic as hell. You can see the disease in other ethnic groups but you can't recognize it in yourself. So, in your ignorance, you sent our boys to die in a hopeless war halfway across the world.

From my point of view, we're all just humans, no more and no less, and our foreign policy has to take into account the undeniable fact that we are not supermen, and that a million Clark Kent clones are not employed by the US military.
