For some time, I've believed that the most analogous period to the current economic condition was the secular bear of '66 to '82. Many only look at the price chart of the market during that period. If one considers an inflation adjusted chart, a quite different picture emerges.

Maybe we can replay some old Jerry Ford button footage.
