Like I said - I know we're not perfectly clean in this situation. But the UN and the countries I named had a responsibility to come clean before the sh!t hit the fan. They owed it to us and, if they were the humanitarians they claimed to be, they owed it to the Iraqi's. MY America first POV doesn't cloud my vision. We're less than perfect in many ways...more than I care to admit. But everyone on this thread (for or against Bush) has reason to be mad as hell at the UN, France, Germany and Russia. Honestly - I still think we would have invaded even if they'd told us of their dirty deals. What bothers me is how they looked down on the US as they filled their pockets with what turned out to be blood money because of their lack of honesty. Next time France needs help I'd send a lund fishing boat

the master plan is to turn Iraq over to the IGC in June and let the chips fall where they may, so to speak...
we will remain of course to provide security to the IGC and others but Iraq is at that time back in the hands of the Iraqi people, a new dynamic will develop from there on...
