There is probably some gnashing of teeth in former CA circles about the Mulroney comments however... it was a fund raiser for the party and I don't expect Mulroney nor former PC's that were from that wing of the party to simply roll over and play dead. you can bet they are rebuilding their influence within the new party as fast as they can.

Its interesting to me that the one big achievement of Mulroney's, Free Trade, is never acknowledged by the real die hard anti-Mulroney former Reformers.

I rarely agree with Joe Clark but these days I think we have a situation where neither party leader and neither leading party have the right mix for what Canada needs.

Lets hope for a minority government, that might make it more interesting and we can do it all over again in a year or two.
