We have learned that he is a liar, but the bigger issue seems to be the battle he is having with his own ego.

Eh, all politicians lie. But it shows that Kerry remains vulnerable to what I think of as the "Jane Fonda drip treatment". He has never been able to put away his anti-war activities as youthful zeal, or whatever, and has always overcompensated on the Vietnam hero stuff as a result. He is practically advertising his vulnerabilities.

Like Mark Steyn said, "Kerry spent the 70s as Jane Fonda, and now he wants to run as John Wayne."
