Sounds a little odd to me. I can't imagine how a via could collapse, but...

Given that it happens at elevated temps., I guess we all know now why AMD has targeted low power operation. Not because they could, but because they had to. Yet another area where Intel shows its superiority, clearly Prescott doesn't have any problem with operating at high temps.
