I disagree. I think Kerry served honorably, even though he was against the war. When he saw the truth of it, his antiwar position was even stronger, and he came back and continued to serve, by trying to end the war. The best way to keep our soldiers from getting killed is to keep them out of elective wars, ready to defend us when we need it. Iraq was no threat to US. Why he supports the current war ( and Israel ) is beyond me. Support the least crappy choice, John Forbes Kerry.

No, let's decide the election on 1971-1972.
You have a multiple decorated war hero with over 20 enemy kills and many lives saved returning from extreme combat after witnessing a totally screwed up war where half his friends got killed. He protests. Gives back some of his medals.

Meanwhile you have rich party boy Bush whose daddy gets him into the do-nothing Air Guard, then he goes AWOl and decides he doesn't need to show up for training or finish his duty. He gets a pass because of his father's position as head of the RNC (same position as Enron Ed Gillespie now).

Which of the two is the more courageous and honest person?
