After the Democratic caucuses and primaries, Kerry faded into the background. I'm not sure why,
but I've wondered what happened. When Dean was running for the nomination, the cameras focused
intently on him and Howard popped up on the national news nightly. Did Kerry benefit
from the camera as well as the daily print focus on Dean?

Once Dean was out of the picture, Kerry ran through the primaries b4 he disappeared for a
week's vacation followed by time off for shoulder surgery. When he was on vacation, the
press suggested Kerry was a slacker. I'm not sure if that was fair.

Will he make a comeback? I think he's trying. He stood up to Bush recently after Bush and
Cheney attempted to discredit Kerry's heroism in the Vietnam war. He has several new
tv commercials running in my area. I've heard he's dropped in the polls so I expect we
will hear more from him.
