uw,

I am slowly now learning

There's no reason to expect it to be fast for you.

Is there a 12 step program for former cell phone addicts?

Step #1: Get a life.

Step #2: Forget the remaining 11 steps. If you accomplish Step #1, you won't have time for them anyhow.

I am slowly now learning that a cell phone is not the vital link I once thought it was.

Since retiring and relocating, I have made no calls on the cell and received only two. Both were from the moving van driver trying to find the house.

Usually, it requires having at least a few friends. Maybe the moving van driver will be your friend.
