Jackson's right that Kerry needs a positive message.

What he overlooks is that the Democrats did little
but bash Bush for practically the entire primary
season. There wasn't much positive vision coming out
of the prospects at that time. Before he imploded,
Dean was the big anti-candidate.

At this point, most of what Kerry has to offer
seems to be broad brush concepts, which he
likes to characterize as plans. Unfortunately for him,
he seems to have a simmering temper just below the
surface. If challenged, he tends to reply with
things like "You're not listening to me." Very defensive.

If Kerry's going to have a positive message, there's
a lot he must change about himself. JMO
