Womens rights are very important. Nobody is pro abortion but criminalizing abortion in any way would be a huge mistake. Bush himself reportedly had two girls aborted and was glad he had that option. Bush Sr. was pro choice in his early days. The radical rightwing religious conservatives have taken over the GOP, but they are still a minority view. Women also make up 51% of the voters so watch out in the fall. That million woman march had a big affect on women. It woke many of them up.
