Ann, again you are lying. Re-enlistment is a huge problem. Who told you that story? More than 50% will not re-enlist and can't wait to get home and get out, though we all hope that doesn't happen. Why do you think they're talking about the draft?

Kerry is the veterans champion in Washington along with McCain. Kerry is a Silver Star winner and Bush went AWOL and dodged the draft. Bush has cut vets benefits and has sent our soldiers into a pointless war with no end in sight. He has totally mismanaged the military. Yes Bush will get conservative soldiers to vote for him but Kerry will split the pro-military vote and win the veterans vote. Watch Kerry pick a combat hero running mate as well. Good chance he will unless he picks Richardson.
I'll bet Wes Clark and Bill Nelson are on the short list now, plus McCain and Hagel. Even if Kerry doesn't pick Clark he will make him DOD secretary and have he and Cleland running hard for him. The Kerry campaign is and will be very pro-military. The defense vote TYV ads Bush is running are all BS. Cheney supported most of the same vcuts and Kerry also voted FOR every one of those programs except the MX missile which isn't used in the ads becuse it was just a stupid idea.
