I think that a lot of the short interest buildup is in the hands of the MM's (and they are busy remedying the situation on this ramp down, they had to supply stock on the rise, since so little was in the hand of the public). It reminds me too much of the decline from around $38 to $16 in 1999, it is even roughly the same size, the same sudden increase of shorts. What happens next, if next week's earnings are good, is possibly another ramp, and the MM's shorts are replaced with public shorts attempting to short the next ramp. Of course, all that assume that we do not drop under the "breakout area" of about $4.15. If they let me add under $5 I will. There is one additional possibility and that is massive sales from the estate and the wife of the deceased founder, maybe a million plus shares are there, and she filed intention to sell, I know not how much she sold, I trust most of what she wanted to.
